So Greg and Liz took me through a brutal workout. Getting extra attention sucks sometimes because there is nowhere to hide.
First we did some MovNat style stuff working on balance. I was actually impressed with how my balance was. I’m not sure if I can attribute it to the yoga I’ve been doing or not…
Then for our strength movement we did power cleans. This is where I realized I need an oly bar at home NOW!! I have slow elbows. If anyone has any tips on how to bring your elbows around faster I’d love to here it.
I was working a 5 rep max when out of the blue I decided to throw on 145#. I’m not sure what I was thinking. I didn’t even add up the weight. It just “looked” like something I thought I should be able to lift. I blew my arms at attempting it a couple of times and dropped down to 135# but couldn’t move it either (looks like man Grace is out for now). It was fun though because I’ve been doing only body weight movements the last few months.

This was the first workout I have ever done using a pair of kettlebells. It freakin’ sucked!
