I’ll be hitting this WOD while Laura and Madeline are out on their lady date with Sio and Leah.

For loads;
A. High hang clean/hang clean/clean – 1.2.3 x 5; 180 seconds b/t sets
+
B. Chin ups @ 31X1; 2-3 x 5; 120 seconds rest b/t sets
+
C. 3 sets for reps;
AMRAP CTB chin ups; 0 seconds rest
AMRAP air squats in 60 seconds; rest 60 secondsI’ll have to modify A, as I’m limited to 45#, 95# and 145#.
Looks like a smoker.
Weighed in at 171#.

I need your help please.
I’m not sure the timing could be any better, OPT’s post for the same day Madeline was born is about “Your Hero.”
So I need to put together a WOD for my Hero, Laura.
It will serve to commemorate both my admiration of Laura and the joy of holding Madeline for the first time.
It needs to destroy me as well. It needs to end Old Tyler and create New Tyler.
I fully admit that I’m getting philosophical, but I can’t really help it.

Push Jerk – 135#/95#
CTB Chin Ups
bar cannot be racked at any time or taken from rack to start workout
chest must hit bar visibly on chin ups, no grazing or maybesWhile they may seem insignificant, I’m going to assume that they’ll lead to all types of awfulness.
What are your standards?
