Murph is one of my favourite WODs.
As I start the march towards being in shape, I thought it best to start slowly. So twice a week I’m working out. 1/4 Murph one day and a lift the other day.
I just finished up 1/4 Murph. No time, the only goal was to be alive at the end. Mission accomplished.
Five rounds for time of:
95 pound Snatch, 3 reps
95 pound Overhead squat, 15 reps
Run 400 meters
I’ve done 3 x (400m run, 15 95# OHS) and it sucked.
No, it’s not 100% Paleo, I understand that.
I’m currently testing myself for a dairy sensitivity (aka, no dairy for 2 weeks, have some, measure impact) so I can’t have any chocolate.
I’m also fairly lazy when it comes to cooking, and this “recipe” reflects that.
Grab a handful of almods/cashews/nut, drizzle with honey, toss a bunch of cinnamon on top, mix, stuff in face.
It’s a cheat that’s not a “burn down the house” cheat.
